We’ve heard golf club and putter today. I’m no golfer, but my dad is. He thinks golf club but it is rather small. Going to get it cleaned up soon to see if there are any markings in the iron!

It’s a golf club, probably a nine iron with a wooden shaft. I know because I have one.
