Site Preparation

During phase one, the house was prepped for the next phase of our project: restoring and renovating the interior. We acquired a Type II permit from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission to remove the aluminum siding which had been applied during the mid-twentieth century. Phase One photos highlight the process of identifying and addressing non-historic additions over the last century. Phase One also involved stabilization of key historic elements including the original stained glass windows, heart pine floors, double-sided brick fireplace, mantels, two over two windows, and exterior wood siding.
